Hey guys!

Thanks in advance for all the input! :)

Here my current setup:

Single 1920*1020 Monitor!

These need to be upgraded:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor, Black Edition
http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Phenom-Processor-Edition-HDT90ZFBGRBOX/dp/B003FVI2KQ

MoBo: MSI 760GM-E51 AM3 http://www.msi.com/product/mb/760GM-E51.html

GPU: Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinum
http://www.palit.biz/palit/vgapro.php?id=1341

I would like to keep:

RAM: 8GB G.Skill PC3-10666 Arbeitsspeicher 8GB +
4 GB-Kit G-Skill RipJaws F3-10666CL7D DDR3
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004BDGWN6/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
http://www.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=29671&agid=1192

PSU: Thermaltake W0106RU 700W (I guess)

Cooler: ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED 120mm 2 Ball
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118046

I dont care about HDD that much.

What I want to get:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
http://www.techpowerup.com/cpudb/1469/core-i5-4670k.html

MOBO: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H, Intel Z87 Mainboard
http://techreport.com/review/24912/gigabyte-z87x-ud3h-motherboard-reviewed

GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 770 JetStream, 4096 MB DDR5
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b1969/palit-gtx-770-jetstream.html

1. SLI: Yes. surely a nice thing. Used GTX770 in a year maybe?

2. I think that CPU is quite decent not to expensive and can stand the some future GPU upgrades?

3. MOBO: I dont really have any idea. I dont need to much fancy stuff.
But like powerful ones.
3x PCIEx16 I dont need imo..

4. Will my Cooler work out?
Its LGA 1156 compatible. Am I right that also means 1150 compatible?

5. My PSU is from 2006 I guess, but still 700W. What do you think?

6. Even if its only 1333Mhz Ram I never had probs with them, What do you think?

7. Overclocking: ye sure

Only games I play:

elder scrolls: Skyrim MODS
total war
battlefield

Tell me what you think!
Critique!

I appreciate your help very very much!
Thank you!

Yes, LGA1156, 1155 and 1150 all use the same spacing.

Motherboard is a decent choice, 4670k is a good choice for future upgrades. Intel should make one more chip line for LGA1150.

Keeping the RAM is workable, but hard to recommend 1333 memory in a new build, possibly upgrading the ram in the future? What are you doing with the rest of the old hardware? Could always build a spare machine or sell the chip/ram/board as a set.

Thanks a lot for the answer and the info! :)

With the Ram, yeah I know. Will think about an upgrade after some time,
but want to try it like that.

Maybe I give the old hardware to my family or something, dont know yet. Doubt I will get that much a good price for it.
