I have now upgraded from Gigabyte Radeon 7870 Oc to Gigabyte Radeon 7970 ghz edition. I was need to update bios before i could get this card to work. It worked fine until i installed the lastest beta driver for hd 7000 series on amd´s site. When i installed that and restarted pc, then just my fans goes like a dont know even what. They just blowed max fan speed and min fan speed. I looked in ccc and it says the card has 100 C. I quickly made the resolution bad and uinstalled driver to not burn the card. I looked down on my computer and saw the one fan not working, the other two working fine. I installed an older driver (not beta) From gigabyte´s official site. And it seems to working fine. Now it shows 29 C when im not playing. I think that beta crap disabled the one fan. Anyway to start it up. Mayby there is a reset buttom on it or something, or a reset in bios?

Please help. Sorry for bad eng.

Does it play well besides that issue? I suspect its something installed on your computer causing conflict more than the card itself but if its under warranty see if they'll let you rma it

anyway thanks guys. Yes because i forget to uinstall the old driver from hardware something. It is something on my windows. I just clicked deactivate not remove. That could break and disable the one fan. But to solve the problem i just unplugged the card and plugged and all worked! Im so glad!

But i have a little problem. When i play fc3 maxed out with 8x the game is jumping. Its not like lagg its just running un-smooth there is any settings to change in ccc? I remember i was need to change something there to get fc2 to work property ?

svhost is a windows process. your best bet would to run ccleaner or auslogics boost speed, i may actually have a spare key for boost speed its a great program.

i would try this free one first tho and see if it may be a registry issue http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-cleaner/
