Any help would be great! The only problem is that I am slightly over budget. I would like to take out the SSD and add a 1 TB HD instead of the current 500 GB. Do you think that I really need a SSD?

Just finished reading a review on that particular cooler master supply. Poor efficiency ratings, as low as 72%, bad voltage ripples, and it failed to deliver 550W without shutting down. Bad idea for an overclocking system.

Looking at his video card, I'd safely assume he's using it for gaming. If he was using a Titan, for example he could be one of those people who wanted a cheaper Tesla. For gaming wise, I would go with a i5-4670K with an ASUS Z87-Pro and save the extra 100 dollars on an aftermarket cooler such as the H80i or the H100i to get the most out of an unlocked proc. He should consider getting the GTX 760 because it gives some what similiar performance for 100 dollar less. This way he could put the money into a better PSU, a decent 850W PSU so that he could have room for overclocking both GPU and CPU and allow support for two way SLi with GTX 760. For the monitor, I really like Acer Monitors because they are cheaper in general and deliver great quality (I own an Acer monitor) You could get a cheaper Acer 23 inch monitor for less. As for the SSD, only two things come into play; do you care about fast booting times and faster loading times in your favorite games? If so, keep the SSD. If not I would get a Nice 2TB Hard Drive for all your games. 8GB is sufficient enough for you. Not the worst choices. Good job! Hope this helps.

I checked out the power supply you linked to me and I think I will get that one, but I want to save money by getting rid of the SSD do you think that I could do that?

I'm going to put out a different build for you:

Core i5-4670K $249.99 (best gaming CPU right now)
Geforce GTX 760 $249.99 (almost a GTX 670 gives 95% of performance can overclock it to beat GTX 670)
ASUS Z87-A $149.99 (best price to feature set)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $34.99 OR get Hyper 212+ instead and save $5
Corsair Vengeance 8GB Memory $69.99 OR get 1333 Mhz RAM and overclock it
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM $99.99 OR 500GB WD Caviar Blue for $64.99
Cooler Master HAF 912 $49.99 OR NZXT Source 210 with window (looks killer and decent enough airflow)
Corsair TX 850 - $139.99 OR HX750 $124.99 (better PSU overall lower wattage but still can handle GTX 760 SLi)
Asus DRW-24B3ST/BLK/G/AS DVD/CD Writer $22.99 OR save 22.99 and go with USB stick install of Windows unless you play DVDs
Asus VS247H-P 23.6" Monitor $167.99 -$20.00 $7.59 $155.58 OR get an Acer monitor

Are you a student or do you know anyone who is a student? If you are, you could get education discounts for Windows 7 like crazy (my university gives for free)

Without an SSD how long does it take a computer to boot, also taking away a SSD affects what other aspects of using the computer?

my SSD boots my PC in 7 seconds - my laptop without it boots in 45 seconds. There you go. Heavy disk usage games like modded Skyrim will utilize the SSD to reduce load times by 3-4 seconds sometimes ( I tested this with my SSDs )

Dude the GTX 760 is really almost on par with the GTX 670 and can overclock to beat the GTX 670. You could always SLi later for more performance. The GTX 760 will be cheaper to SLi too.

Are you modding vanilla Skyrim? It looks like his budget is around 1300-1400 because I added the parts together and it came out as 1434.

Here's a newegg build:

Core i5 4670K 239.99
ASUS Z87-A 149.99
Hyper 212 Evo 33.99
NZXT Source 210 39.99
Seagate 1TB 69.99
Samsung 120GB 109.99
Acer 23 159.99
GTX 760 Gigabyte 259.99
HX750 124.99
Corsair Vengeance 8gb LOW profile memory 1600Mhz 69.99
Windows 7 Home Premium. 99.99

Total: 1,378.88 vs 1433.99

The GTX 760 creates this nice little void in the 300-350 dollar range. I can't fit in a GTX 770 without breaking your budget. That is a 400 dollar card. The GTX 760 performs as well as any card in the 300-350 dollar range. If you want the next step up, step up to the GTX 770 and increase your budget.
