This is my build. I'm trying to keep it under £700 including a monitor. Do i need a 500w PSU or could i go as low as 430W. Are there any motherboard i could get that are cheaper but just as reliable. I'm fine with 320GB storage space. I'm not planning on overclocking so do i need an aftermarket CPU cooler. Is the stock AMD one sufficient. I'm intending to use this PC for gaming.

nice build bro, by the way don't forget to get an after cpu cooler like Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and u will need the CX500W as the hd7870 require two pci-e connectors. the CX430 has only on e pci-e connector whereas the CX500 has 2x6+2 pin pci-e connectors.

Your build looks good. I'd keep the 500w psu just for the additional headroom. That setup will probably need a minimum of 375-400w.

Never spend more for a MOBO then on a CPU. That's my logic when building PC's unless you plan a fast upgrade. Also, Asus is one of the priciest manufacturers in general when it comes to pc components so if your on a tight budget like you are, get some gigabyte, msi or asrock mobo.
