Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB or AMD equiv

Hello all, i have read alot of things about NVIDIA VS AMD, and i cant make my mind up.

I am soon to buy my fist gaming PC and i am a NVIDIA fan, what i would like it for someone to try to convince me why i should pick a AMD one.

So many people just put the the AMD XYZ but never actually explain why, and would be good to start a conversation where i can ask questions on your reasons.

U will be fine with GTX660Ti. Idk how big is ur budget, but a GTX 7xx series would be fine to get a rly good build.

Realizing that you are picking parts in the UK, I would just say that I think you're going to find the GTX 660 Ti and particularly the GTX 760 to be the better deals. When are you going to build your pc? Reason I ask is because the gtx 760 is a much better buy than the 660ti and is cheaper to boot. However, I just checked on the UK amazon site and didn't see it in stock anywhere reasonable. If you can wait a week or so to see if it comes in stock, I'd get that. Otherwise, the AMD 7870 Ghz ed card is a cheaper alternative. The 7870XT is a slightly more powerful version.

Also, after looking at your build, I would actually just recommend getting an air cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (or plus). It's half the price and cools better than the water cooler you listed. It's also a lot softer.

it wont be for at least a month, but it will take me that long to decide / save.

thank you for the advice on th cooler, noted and will change that i was not sure which was best just liked the look of the water one.
