Upgrading to a Gtx 480 Superclocked on my Corsair 500w

I want to upgrade from my old Gts 250 to a Gtx 480 and i was wondering if my Corsair Builder Series CX500 could handle it. My full system specs are below.

Intel i5 3570k (no overclock)
GTS 250 1gb (no overclock)
8gb Corsair Vengeance ram
120 gb OCZ SSD Agility 3
2 500gb HDDs
2 blue Cold Cathodes
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

The GTX 480 is notoriously power hungry, and I'd recommend you have at least 650W for it. It's a safer route to get something like a 650 Ti Boost or 660.

I'm hoping to buy a new or used card off ebay for around 150-200 dollars
