Having looked around for headphones there seems to be three main trends: Wired/Wireless, Surround sound/Stereo and Sound isolation active/passive.
The Logitech G930s seem to be ranking quite high on the charts at the moment. It fills all the main criteria I'm looking for; namely, surround sound, wireless (with wired option). The sound isolation is apparently relatively impressive for passive isolation.
There have been some reviews, however, saying that the sound quality of these headphones is a bit lacking when it comes to music. If anyone has a set of these cans please let me know what they are like (not crazy audiophile so no need for perfection, just decent bass and general audio).
If there are any other cans that fit these criteria please list so I can compare.
Budget is roughly $100-$200 (R1000-R2000).

i've tested the g930s for 4 months and was definitely pleased, with the price in mind of course. the earcups are larger than similar models and let your ears breath a tad better, though they are closed back so they'll also get warm. and yea the passive noise isolation is pretty solid too.

in terms of music, they're good not great, so i can understand the less than admirable reviews. gaming is fine bc the positional audio is good. if you want other alternatives to compare, 2 similar ones are worth a look:

Tactic 3d omega

Corsair vengeance 2000

both are some of the better wireless options around $100 - $150. best of luck man!
