I just installed my old system that was 100% working less then 2 hours ago and now i am having nothing but problems. This is what its doing Press power button>Runs for 3 seconds> shuts down> Starts back up and runs. I get no post, display or beeps whats so ever.

what ive tried

  • New PSU that i know works and is way over powered for the system
rearaging Ram as well as trying on 1X2gb stick
Outside case test with both GPU and OnBoard Graphics

What do you guys think im stating to think its a fried MOBO? How it could have happened i dont know i installed all risers properly and didnt over torque the screws. and it was running fine like i said a few hours ago.

Also i checked the board. No Scorch marks no bubbles compositors or blown no signs of any damage. also never touched the cpu never even disconnected the fan.

Solution
Both PSU's you listed are not reliable, therefore not letting your PC not booting up. I suggest buying/borrowing a different one. Try looking for Corsair/Sesonic/XFX/Silverstone/Antec....
