My nVidia card burnt out so I bought an MSI Radeon HD 7850 (OC edition) as It was recommended budget card. I installed following instructions and the computer functions fine until I try to play games.

I tried booting Lego Lord Of The Rings from Steam, but I just get a "your gfx card doesn't support shader model 3, shutting donw now!" but from what I can see online my card supports SM5 (it installed DX11 as well, which seems to back up that it has SM5). I tried Team Fortress 2 and Payday: they try to launch, go to a black screen then back to desktop. Worms Revolution works fine, but these others don't.

I uninstalled everything nVidia I could find in Control Panel, then went into Safe Mode and used Driver Sweeper to remove the nVidia Drivers and Physics (NOT chipset), but that doesn't seem to have helped. I don't know how to attach DxDiag files to this, so I copied some of the data to this post. Any ideas?
