a title says
going to clock my i7 to 4.7 and my GPU's to 1185
here are my components

let's see
motherboard: let's say ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 most likely
gpu:XF 7970 vapor-x OC
harddrive: 1 tb WD blue
cpu: i7-3770k overclocked
ram : corsair vengence 8 gb (8x1) ( in future i will add another 8 gb tho )
case: HAF 912 ( there is a chance that i'd get HAF-X or CM-trooper) not sure if it matters tho
monitor: samsung s23a700d
cooler: Noctua 14d
i might add 1 or two fans to the case if they are usefull too as people say it's good to have like a 200mm fan
i have really been searching but no one convinced me enough yet please experts help

More about : recommended psu 7970 overclocked 3770k

Non-overclocked, each 7970 draws about 300w at full load, and the processor about 80w at full load. That's about 750w with all the other stuff you have, so for the power supply, I would probably go with 850w.

Hope this helps! :D

i have 2x 7970s overclocked at 1125/1575 with an overclocked 2600k, 750W is enough (i was running a 750W for over a year), power tune stops the cards from drawing more than 250W. That said I now have an 850W for extra piece of mind ;)  Make of that what you will.
