Kingston v300 vs Samsung 840 - Worth the 20$ difference?

I am in need of an SSD to finish up my current gaming PC build and can not decide which SSD to get. I have narrowed it down to either the Kingston v300 or the Samsung 840 both in 120gb. The Kingston v300 is on sale for 79.99 at newegg with free shipping, while the Samsung 840 is 99.99 with some change for shipping.

I was wondering if the speed between these two SSD's is worth the price difference or if the difference is negligible. I only plan on installing my OS and a few games onto my SSD leaving the rest of my documents and files to go on an HDD. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

Or, are there any other SSD's worth considering in this price range? Mushkin, Crucial, OCZ?

I already have the following assembled in my case and ready to go

ASRock z77 Extreme4
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb (2x4gb) Low Profile DDR3 1600mhz Ram
OCZ ZT 750 Modular PSU
Corsair Carbide 300r
Hyper 212 Plus CPU cooler

I plan on buying a hard drive in the future, but seeing as this computer will have minimal use for the next month I would prefer to have an SSD over a HDD for now.

Edit: Kingston drive is no longer selling for 79.99 on Newegg; get the Samsung. Unless your getting Kingston HyperX, I would trust the newer Samsung 840 SSD instead. Get the Samsung.
