Another power supply/card question

Computer died on me recently, 6 beeps on startup which indicates a "video bios failure" for my system.

Figured the card was dead - it had been giving me problems for months. Overheating, randomly stop working and shut off my display, getting CRAZY loud to the point that I need to shut the computer off.

I knew it wasn't going to last too long.

So it finally died, and I figured I would buy a new power supply (currently have a stock 350W Dell PSU, which would be...3/4 years old now) and see if that would solve the problem

I was pretty sure it was just my card, but I thought if/when I had to get a new card then I would need a new power supply anyway

So my 450W XFX PSU arrived today, still getting the 6 post beeps

Installed the stock card that I got with the system years ago, booted fine (although in moving everything around I think I hooked up my two internal HDDs the wrong way around and Windows wouldn't boot, but thats an issue for the morning)

So my card is definetly dead, and I was thinking about replacing it with an MSI 7850 1GB

From what I have read, from around here, chances are a new 350W supply from someone like Corsair would be fine

But what say you of my 350W Dell supply that is atleast 3 years old now? Have a few days before I can send it back, I figure I should keep it but whatever

(I am not sure said 7850 will even fit in my case..I seriously need to sleep now and I already done some research on this but if anyone feels interested, I have a Dell Vostro 430 (deprecated now))

Cheers all
