Will I notice a gaming difference between the fx-4350 and the fx-6350? Will it make a difference in upcoming games like battlefield 4 and total war rome 2? It will be paired up with a geforce gtx 760 and 8gb ram. Thanks.

Planetside 2 is an excellent example of an extremely poorly threaded program. Just read their tech support forum. IPC make the biggest difference in it, beyond having a dual core setup. If you want to play PS2 and have fun, buy an unlocked i5 and clock it up to 4.5GHz, else have fun at 20 or fewer FPS in battles large enough to justify the purpose of the game.

BF3 on the other hand scales well with more cores, as does media encoding. For the extra $5, buy the 6300 instead of the 4350 and overclock the6300 bit to match the clockspeed of the 4350. May as well given the meaningless difference in price.
