Will my PSU have enough juice?

Well, lately I have been considering an upgrade for my current PC. I built mine back on Halloween day 2012, and I figured since it has been over half a year since then, it is time for my first upgrade!

The thing is, I am on a tight budget, and I need to make room to breath wherever I can, and if I can get this cleared out of the way, I may have enough room for some other stuff in the upgrade that I would prefer to have.

Now, the Specs (Current):

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
GTX 550ti
1TB Seagate HDD
Foxconn A78X ATX mobo
Raidmax 550SS 550W PSU

Specs (Upgrade)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
GPU: Radeon HD 7870 (7950? Still thinking on that one)
HDD: 1TB Seagate HDD
Mobo: Foxconn A78X ATX mobo
PSU: ?
Peripherals: Logitech keyboard and mouse, Wireless Adapter, joystick, and 4 fans.

So, do I have enough juice to run it, or do I need to find a new PSU? Thanks!

So just wondering, if I were to buy the 7950, would that 550W also be able to run it? Or is that basically it's limit. You see, I have been to 5+ different sites, (None are really as well-known and reputable as this) and they have all given me different answers, so I guess I came here for a definite solution. Thanks. :)

Raidmax 550SS 550W PSU < That is a low end 550w , you might want to upgrade it , to run better cards.

if you not doing any overclocking then 550 should suffice even for 7950. but at stock clock your proc will definitely going to bottleneck 7950. if you dont plan on getting new cpu 7870 (not the tahiti based one that called 7870 XT) will be much in better choice in term of more balance setup. it use much less power as well. but the choice is yours.

anyway you might want to check the newly release GTX760 as well. i havent the time to properly checked all the reviews yet but i heard the card perform between 7970 (non ghz) and 7950 boost while cost a lot less (mostly in 250-260 range)

I think I am going to end up going with a 7870, and a 550W PSU that is from Cooler Master. I can OC my CPU if it starts bottlenecking (Since I have heard that the Phenom series OCs really well), and I think this is overall my best choice. Thanks everyone! :D
