Hey all!

I recently purchased the ASUS GTX 660 Direct Cu II OC video card. I upgraded from an HD Radeon 5770 which also utilized a 6-pin connector. I'm just worried that my PSU isn't sufficient but I've read elsewhere that 600W is safer and some say 450W is fine so I'm not sure where to go.

This is my PSU.

Hi, seems your 5770 is using about 200 watt at load (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-5770,2446...) Gtx660 should go to about 150 so it should be fine, as it loads PSU less. You would experience shutdowns if there is not enough power. and more PSU power means you are not running it at max, they should then sound quieter and live longer, emitt less heat, as it is not loaded to 80-100% all the time.
