MOBO: Asus P8 Z77V (latest bios) / OS: Win7/64bit (all updates) / PSU: Corsair CX600
Situation: My son and I built gaming computer, everything works without the GPU. GPU sends message to plug in power -- already done that. Tried multiple times, same message/issue. Only way to boot is to remove card and use default HDMI connection. Bummer!!

Am I missing something? Ideas?

PS Gigabyte's website needs a bit of improvement.....

Solution
Unplug both connections and then cold boot, leave it for 5 minutes.
Power it down and unplug it from the mains for 21 minutes or longer.
Plug both the connections back in (if there are two).
Wait 90 seconds.
Cold boot the PC again.

If that doesn't work try the video card in another PC and another video card in that PC to isolate.
