ouch.

ok... Unplug your computer, wait for the light on the motherboard to turn off. search your MB for a silver circular battery. Pull the battery out, near the battery will be a small 3 prong switch with a 2 prong jumper with tiny print near it that will say some variation of clr_cmos. pull the jumper, from the two prongs on one side and switch it to the other (the middle prong will be covered in both positions).

wait a few minutes. make some coffee or something. then reset the jumper back to the original position, and put the battery back into the motherboard.

If your mb won't POST (the screen stays black and stuff doesn't turn on) then you bricked your motherboard and need to contact gigabyte for help in either replacing the mb or doing a hard replacement of the bios chip. Otherwise this should fix the issue.

I was wrong... usually the clr_cmos jumper is near the battery, on this mb it's in the bottom right corner

all a jumper is, is a piece of copper. Pull the plug, Pull the battery, and bridge the connection with something copper. leave it for a few minutes.

You're not going to get a video tutorial mate, every motherboard is different.
- You might, but it would be a total waste of all involved time.

If you are not comfortable doing it, read your motherboard manual (PDF download if you don't have it) and check the diagrams.

If you're still not comfortable doing that then pay a professional PC Repair Technician to resolve it and/or a little extra to demonstrate the process.

Hello jhonsm007

No need of video tutorials...

Jst search for Silver lithium battery looking small ,circlular type.

Just take out by any this non-conductive materials like this stick, plastic pen refil.

keep it outside for some 4-5 min again put it back !!!

check & reply
