Hello people of Toms!

I have a project on the go to make a silent triple overhead fan system to keep me cool during the day while I sleep (I work nights). Everything works perfectly and silently; using an Akasa AK-FC-06U3BK, connected to 3 Noctua NF-S12B ULN fans and powered by a Phobya External PSU (4 pin Molex) that's all triggered off a pre programmed digital mains timer.

The problem I'm having and that I would love to resolve is that the Akasa has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front (the reason for buying this model, so I could charge phone, E-Cig, Ipod etc) but isn't powered by the Molex that runs the fans and has a separate USB 3.0 connector cable coming off it out the back. Does anyone know if there is a USB 3.0 to Molex converter or anyone able to help me rewire this cable for power use only (It will never be connected to a PC).

Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from someone!

I'm not sure of the accuracy of this particular image, I would do some more research and verify this info with a multimeter before trying anything.

Good luck.
