Hey guys.

Looking for a new Motherboard.
For gaming ;)

There really are quite some,
and I dont have that much knowledge about them so..

I narrowed it to these:

ASRock Z87 Extreme4 175€

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H 185€
Gigabyte Z87X-OC 194€

ASUS Z87-Pro 180€
ASUS Z87-C 120€
ASUS Maximus VI HERO 185€

I dont need any fancy WLAN stuff,
would like to overclock surely,
want to use SLI later.

thats quite a bunch of them. but I cant really decide.

Which manufacturer do you think is the best?

Im open for any other suggestion!
If you think another board is best, tell me!

Thank you guys!
Help really appreciated!

Every board SLI support.
ASUS Maximus VI HERO - True gaming board, awesome gaming and overclocking feature.
ASUS Z87 Pro - Z87 Plus is better price-wise than it yet provide same performance but lack overclocking feature and capability.
Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H - Capable run 4.7GHz at 1.25v, remarkable result, have basic gaming feature.
Gigabyte Z87X-OC - Design for overclock, will only dissapoint at stock speed, lower overall power consumption.

Alternative:
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming - pure gaming board with Killer E2205 LAN, excellent performance at stock speed, proven edge out any above board, overclockable but run hotter than other board.
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H - better overclocking potential, overall performance than UD3H, worth paying a...

Analysis:
For basic gaming, Z87-G45 gaming is enough, perform better than Z87 Pro in gaming.
For online gamer, GD65 gaming or Maximus VI Hero do much better, however Hero's audio much better.
If temp, power consumption your main concern, then GA-Z87X-OC would be the best choice.
Gigayte Z87X-UD4H better price point, same overclocking capability to Z87X-OC, have rebate now, sure is best bet.

Conclusion, fist choice to be consider is Maximus VI Hero or GA-Z87x-UD4H or even Z87X-OC.

Legenda in Aeternum
I'd go with the Rock Extreme 4, great mobo, priced well, I look to them both for client and personal build, they have good support and QC...Next look to Asus and GB....MSI and others I don't touch, QC (quality control) poorer and support is all but worthless
