Is this something that anyone here is familiar with?

Specs:
| Intel i5 750 | EVGA P55 SLI Board| EVGA GTX 770 SC 2GB | 2x4GB Ripjaws X 1600 | Intel 330 180GB | XFX 750W BE | CM Storm Sniper BE | CM V6 GT |

Problem basically involves me starting up, it'll start boot- then shut off 2-3 seconds later, then restart for good and post properly.

This only occurs when I have an overclock on the CPU/Memory.

At this time, I have a pretty mild overclock or 3.2Ghz on my CPU (didn't disable the Boost properties due to such a low OC)- really just wanted enough to get my new RAM sticks running on rated timings. I've had it up to 4.0 and beyond.

I haven't adjusted any voltages really, well, my RAM was auto set to run at 1.65V- but it is rated at 1.5V, so I stepped it down to rated Voltage.

Is this a problem specific to my board (its obviously quite old)- or a common problem with post when something isn't right with the overclock? ie. a voltage is off so it has to re-post to get the correct voltage?

I mean, it is for sure due to either the minor CPU overclock or the RAM overclock. You're right in that I could restore to default and just OC the CPU to narrow it down to CPU or RAM- I may do that.

I guess the question was more- what could it possibly be doing during the small reboot? It works just fine when it runs, everything is as I set it in the BIOS- is this a common symptom of instability?
