Hi, I'm new to this site, hope I get help.

I am basically going to upgrade my GPU sometime next month. I just wanted to know if there will be any problems with my current rig.

cpu: AMD fx-8350

ram: Kingston HyperX Blu 16GB dual ch at 1600 9-9-9-24 ( if that even matters)

mobo: M5a99FX pro r2.0

gpu: sapphire radeon 7950 ( title basically)

All running in Windows 7 64bit SP1.

Help would be greatly appreciated, i've searched a bit in the forums for related questions, but I couldn't find one.

No problems at all , that PSU is top class , the rest of rig as well. Only one question , why are you doing so ? I mean the HD 7950 is doing great on all games ( atleast mine is ) I was dominating Tomb Raider on Ultimate ( Ultra , TressFX , etc ) on 40FPS+ unless you are getting a 780 for a discounted rate or giving the HD 7950 to someone else , it really doesn't make sense. However if your looking for a GTX 780 , get one with the reference deign cooler. It will leave room for water cooling and the reference cooler is really great.

Ahh yeah, I'm upgrading because my brother is building his own rig as well. So i'll just give him my gpu to save him some cash. Thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate the help.
