Hi,

I am planning on get a cheap video card upgrade and I have considered going for dual 6770's since I already have one and I think it is a cheap and effective upgrade. Although I'm not sure if I would be better off just saving for a new card probably a card from the 8000 series when it arrives.

I play on a screen 1440x900 and most fps games like Battlefield 3 and Planet Side 2 on highest settings I can.

If I was to run out for a new card my budget is about $300 but I am really more concerned if crossfire is a better possibility.

If there are any further questions just ask away.

Solution
Crossfire is kinda wonky right now and using two entry level cards isn't recommended. Dual gpus are best at the high end for 120hz, 1440p, and triple monitors.

I'd get the fastest single gpu i could.
