I'm trying to connect my computer to my TV, with an HDMI cable but I only get "No signal" as an answer. I'm using the DVI port with a DVI to VGA converter for my main monitor.

I'm using a Sapphire(AMD) Radeon 7800 (can't remember which). I can't seem to change the resolution of the TV. Screenshot of the popup here: http://gyazo.com/9eb7f9e4dda3a1882b4b48c88e24f763 (It's in Swedish as i live there but you'll get the point I think). The light grey parts are unclickable for some reason.

I can use my Wii component and my TVbox's HDMI cable and get a good picture without any problems.

This is going to sound stupid, have you selected HDMI as the input on your tv?

I'm goign to assume here that you have.

The monitor that is registering as no.2, is this your primary monitor that is connected via the DVI to VGA adapter?
Are you plugging in the HDMI and/or DVI to VGA into the motherboard or a video card? Or both?
Is the second monitor set to extend or duplicate the primary diasplay at all?

"The monitor that is registering as no.2, is this your primary monitor that is connected via the DVI to VGA adapter?" Yes it is.

"Are you plugging in the HDMI and/or DVI to VGA into the motherboard or a video card? Or both?" I'm plugging it into the video card.

"Is the second monitor set to extend or duplicate the primary display at all?" It's set to extend the primary display.
