I have some sort of adware on my mac, which causes any searches in the address bar to redirect to http://search.nation.com/?affid=203&orig=DS

Any ideas on how to get rid of it, I am on a mac running Snow Leopard and it is the same for Safari and Chrome.

I have already cleared all extensions and resetted safari

Any help appreciated!!!

First of all. Don't use safari. Convert to something like Google Chrome or FireFox. Then install an extension called Adblock, and install WOT. This should help your problem, and also prevent things like this from happening in the future.

Good Luck!

I know this is Google Chrome but i'm pretty sure that those browsers has a pretty similar options so you might want to look into that and change that. Especially the one on starup of the browser.

It may also be that a 3rd party application changed the default search engine to Search Nation or something...
