Front Audio Jack Misplaced

Sorry if this isn't in the correct place, but it's the closest I found. It's more of a problem with the case than the peripheral itself.

The front mic-in connection on my case (Antec One) isn't working too well. By comparison, anything going in the front headphones jack plugs in just fine, and the line in was working well a while ago too. Now though, when I plug something in, the connection isn't taking place. It only works if I move the jack out slightly (and have to hold it there with my hand), or hold the connector in further, as if I'm pushing it into the case. Neither two are really suitable alternatives.

Opened up my case, and the front panel connections are headed by one larger component which handles all the connections (USB, etc), so I can't just push the front a bit forward.

And just as a side note, which I forgot to mention: I tried many different devices. THe only one that actually works is a 3.5mm connection to the case from a 6.5mm/3.5mm adapter which I use to record my guitar. That one connection has always worked, and still does. There's nothing really special about the 3.5mm jack though, so I can't really explain it.

Anyone have some ideas? I'd appreciate it if someone could get this working.

I got another look into the front bezel. Unfortunately, I don't have any soldering experience, and my dad would have too much trouble soldering something smaller like that. Wouldn't hurt to try though.

What wires should I be looking at? All the wires connected to the circuit board handling the audio seem fine. I can't find anything wrong by the motherboard's connection either. Or would the jack have to be resoldered to smaller circuit board beneath it?
