Hi all, right now i'm building a haswell system for gaming, video editing, and CAD programs.

This is what i have so far:

CPU: i7-4770K
GPU: Asus GTX 770 2GB
MOBO: Asus Maximux VI Extreme
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro
HDD: WD Green 500GB
Case: CM Storm Stryker
I might also be buying a sound card as well as a second GTX770, though that might be a year away. I'd like a good modular PSU to go with this system and some good RAM.

Much thanks!

The Corsair HX750 is a great PSU, and if you plan on OC or SLI (which you should be, with that GPU and processor), then get the Corsair HX850 just so that you've got that extra buffer.
EDIT: The Maximus VI Extreme is an extremely unnecessary motherboard.

the only part that i would have said is completely wrong is the motherboard as it is known to not perform better than a much lower end board like the gigabyte sniper m5 nor will you ever use the plx chip. id highly suggest a return.

you want to pick up the cheapest 2x8gb 1600mhz ram you can find, pick up a nice CPU cooler (not a cheap liquid cooler). as for the psu, id get this. there isnt a need for a 850w psu however

However, it may be a good idea for OCing a 4770k, as well as SLI OCed 770s.
