Ethernet controller not work

I have an XP computer that will connect to the Internet. It can not find the Ethernet controller. I'm looking for a driver to down load to my laptop to transfer to my other computer , also the xp is on a Dell

If you go to http://www.dell.com and find your country's local site, go to Support and Drivers then input the Service Tag reference from your case and you'll be led to the right driver for your specific equipment. It will come in the form of an executable file so transfer it to the affected machine and double click on it to run the installation process.
