Yes that is normal for a GPU to do that I assure you. For example when I play F1 2012 when it loads up it drops from around 70FPS to 20FPS. Do not worry this is normal for the GPU to do this.

As long as your actual FPS when playing isnt bad then do not worry :D

Ok understand about the loading screen but for game with no loading screen while am running around an it loading the next area or the next set of objects.... I get a drop from sixty to 3 or 4 frames... It looks like in slow motion or the actual computer is having difficulties loading it! Is that normal as well it happens in far cry 3 or remember me

I assure you it is normal for FPS to lower in the loading screen as all the data that is being loaded is more important. Like I said It happens to me and many many others, If your in-game FPS is smooth then don't worry. This is a normal aspect of a medium-end GPU.

Completely normal. If you don't think so, go eat some chicken nuggets, think about it for a while, and them come back and read this post.

The work has to be done at some point right? So why not make the system do the work during the LOADING screen so the work is'nt during game time, and slow down the fps when you need it the most.
