So this is gonna be my first build and it will be mainly for gaming. If there is any way to improve it without adding to the price. Or if there is anything I could do to lower the price without giving up too much performance that would be helpful. Thanks.

Everything is fine, just change the PSU with this one : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx600...
It is 600W (sweet spot for AMD system) and also is semi modular (much better cable management) for just 15 dollars more.

I think this makes it a definite buy. Other than that the build is pretty solid, something i would have also selected for this price considering that you are getting it with Monitor and everything. This build is good.

Also if you use Wifi then get a wifi card. That could come in handy. But not essentially required.

Also change the RAM to a Dual Channel kit.
You're losing a lot of performance by going single channel.
