Hello, I really want to make a gaming PC, I just don't know what's compatible and where to find a good deal.

If any of you out there are wizzes at finding good parts at good prices that work fine with the system and would like to help, please do.

My budget is at a firm $1,000. I need all of the components for the PC itself, and a monitor. I already have a keyboard and mouse.

Please only comment if you know what you are doing and know what parts are compatible with what.

So, basically, what I need is as follows:
A gaming PC with good frames, not too noisy,
1TB Storage
8 GB RAM (memory)
Processor
PSU
Case
Monitor (preferably around 20")
Operating system
Wireless Card
Motherboard
Optical Drive
Video Card

Solution
Okay, so here is it, it is awesome and can run any today's game at 1080p very high - ultra no problem.

Okay Thanks! I don't really have a preference between Intel and AMD as I'm a new PC buyer, whatever you think would be the best (while still fitting in the price range) would be great. As for the second question, yes, I'll mainly be using the PC for gaming. I don't need the best vid. card in the world, but I would like to be able to hold a steady frame rate of 50-60 for most games on high settings.

Also, if you could find a config, price is pretty solid, so i'd like to keep it around 1,000. If you could find me a good setup that's compatible with everything and runs smoothly, i would be so appreciative. Thanks for helping me out man :)

Of course, i am currently planning your build only, would take about 10 minutes. I am considering Intel as it has just launched a new socket and hence it would be here for about 4 more years. So it would be very much upgradable.

Just wait a few minutes, i would post the build soon.

Ok thanks a lot man, that's fantastic! All the parts are compatible right? Also, how many frames would you say i'd be getting playing games on good settings? Thanks so much

I can play games at very high - ultra settings at 40-60 frames per second.
If you have doubts search google for "Nvidia 760 review" and tonne of reviews from all over the world would come up.

This build would be good enough and if you ever feel like upgrading you can get another same Video Card and put both of them in work together by putting them in SLI and that would be like epic for gaming at 1080p.

But as for now this build looks pretty good to me. :)
Hope you like it.

Ok LAST THING I PROMISE

Would this case work for the build as well? I could make a slight upgrade on the case since i still have 30 bucks to spare and I like it better, please, your best opinion here.

Case is all about personal choice. I cannot image this case to be a problem at all. It would be awesome.

Get any case you like, we here only suggest a case because it is an essential part required for any build just for the sake of completing the build. If you want another case, sure go get the one you like.

And this case would be Awesome, no problems at all.

And congratulations for your new build. It is a beast.

And there is a small correction : This motherboard cannot do future SLI, sorry for that but it is still good for the price today.
If you want the ability to have future SLI capability then spend like 20-30 more bucks on the motherboard. If not then this build is good.
