updating from 13.1 to 13.6 beta

I'm trying to update my amd driver from 13.1 to 13.6 beta (yes, it has been a long time since I even clicked on my catalyst)

Is it okay for me to just download 13.6 beta driver installer and install it over 13.1? or should I use driver sweeper before that?

Should be good to go. Use Driver Sweeper when you're switching from AMD drivers to Nvidia and vice versa, or you get some sort of driver related issues and want to ensure a clean install.

is 13.6 beta an approved driver for 3dmark? i did a test and 3dmark said that graphics driver not approved after I have updated it to 13.6

Unless that's about the only thing you're running I don't see how that is an issue.

Drivers don't really increase benchmark performance by much unless the utility in question is brand new so you wouldn't be seeing any substantial improvements there. The performance gains are often most noticeable in newer games, which are the number one driving factor some of the Beta drivers are even released when they are.
