simply want to get my important files from my formatted pendrive..

yes....same case here....but i left some space like 2.5 gb in my 4 Gb pendrive...& rest all my important documents were there...i given it to some1 who formated my file...& given me a needed softwere,,..but before giving it to that person i backup 20% file in my PC,, & rest were there,,,so can get the rest files which had been formated....though he formated & gave me 2.8 gb software....so can i get it the rest formated files?..

As I know, the bad sectors on a drive also would take up some drive space.

Try to test it with Seatools:
http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/seatools/

As to the inner documents, you could take chances with some drive data recovery freeware here:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/hard-drive-recovery.html

In the future, no matter what happens, never forget to make data backups at least on two hard drives in case of data loss.
