Heatsink lifespan question

how fast will a fan die at constant max rpm? 2700 is the max in this case with the cooler master tx3 also with fairly low cpu temps.

Most fans are specified to have something like 15000 hour lifespan. Before this there's a good chance that it will start to tick or rattle annoyingly. Heatsinks themselves are made of metal and should last as long as metal does provided you keep them in relatively dry conditions. Fans are relatively easy and cheap to replace as they slowly begin to die out over the years.

The problem then seems to be not how long the fan will last, but why is it running so hot? How hot is 'hot'?

turned smart fan back on, sitting in windows with ff open my cpu is 45 degrees C WITH and aftermarket cpu.

cpu: amd 965 black edition 125W model under volted to 1.25
cooler: hyper tx3
thermal compound: arctic silver 5
