first of all, sorry if this is the wrong category, couldn't find one for cooling? not sure if this is because there isn't one or if I'm just stupid and unable to find a category! anyway, I'm building a computer (http://tinyurl.com/amazonlistcustombuild) and I'm stumped for a CPU cooler. I'm intending on making it as silent as possible, but i have no idea what I should go for. My case can fit anything as tall as 160mm I think

Thanks!

Noctua DH14 is the best air cooling solution for you CPU closely followed by Phanteks 14mm competitor which name I can't quite remember. Doubt either will fit inside that case though. If you want something a bit cheaper, get Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or Scythe Katana. Check clearance with your case of course. If you want it really quiet and effective then something more like a closed loop water cooler such as Corsair H100i or Swiftech H220.

They will have no clearance issues as the block is typically quite small, but do make sure that if you get a 240mm radiator closed loop cooler, you'll have somewhere to mount it inside the case. Preferable somewhere close to the motherboard.

Yeah my case has room for two fans at the top, so it should work out fine :)

Edit: just measured it and it turns out i was wrong, it won't fit. I guess i'll just put it outside the case
