Hello all I have a question concerning my Pioneer Blu Ray burner it's modle number is BDR-206D I actually installed this Blu Ray burner about a year ago but I never got around to fixing this issue. But now I would like to get this fixed. I bought the Blu Ray burner from New Egg, but I did not receive a software disk. According to device manager the drivers are current. Thanks in advance for any help.

Solution
Windows media player doesn't support Blu-Ray. If you don't want to pay for software (e.g., CyberLink DVD) try VLC player

Just downloaded the VLC player but I am getting an error message "VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///E:\'. Check the log for details."

Well the software was the issue however the keys you linked for me to download are for Windows 8 and I am still running Windows 7. I went ahead and downloaded Cyberlink Power DVD and it seemed to do the trick, I am now watching my Blu Rays. However I am disappointed that a $140 dollar Blu Ray burner was not enough, I had to spend another $100 for the software. Had I known that from the beginning I would have never bought the burner, I rarely use it anyway. Either way, you're pointing out of the fact that Windows Media player cannot play Blu Ray has resolved my issue, thanks for you're help.
