Hello.
I have a HP Pavilion HPE H8-1234 Desktop PC.
Motherboard- M3970AM-HP
Processor- AMD Six-Core FX-6120
Ram-10GB

-- I play games a lot, I like playing Far Cry3, Arma2/3, DayZ, etc (high impact fps games).

-> Problem is, I got a bad graphics card, it cant handle a lot of fps. I want to get a new one, such as this (link below):

--
If I buy this, will it be alright for my PC, and fit/work correctly since my computer has a graphics card also; Radeon HD 7450. I don't know too much about my computer specs. So, I'm here to ask if it'll be perfect and simple for me to have a good fps and no problems for my computer.

|| Is there something else that could help me with my FPS with the Graphics Card? or is my computer have specs enough to pull it out.

Thanks so much in advance, hope I haven't caused any problems.

You will need a new power supply. The power supply that comes with your desktop is rated for 300W, while the 7870 GHz recommends a 500W power supply. Any card will fit fine, you'll just have to remove your current graphics card and install new drivers.

Refer to this list for good power supply brands and models: http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

I would also recommend the GTX 760 over the 7870 GHz - it performs better for pretty much the same price. (It's also a newer card, and has room for improvement, whereas the 7870 drivers have already matured.) The power requirements are the same.

thanks for the reply, how about the PSU of: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-Series-Watt-CX500/product-reviews/B0092ML0MY/ref=cm_cr_pr_btm_link_1?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0
> Will that fit in fine and work fine for the PC and graphics card, all hooks/cords assembled?
> Another person said I need new drivers, how will I be able to use the new drivers after I hook up these 2.
--Thanks for the quick response btw.

That's a solid PSU. There is a newer model though, the CX500 V2, for the same price. I've checked with your case's default power supply and the dimensions are identical, so it should fit perfectly as well.

If you get the GTX 760 like we recommended, you'll find the drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Once you swap your graphics card, uninstall all AMD graphics software through the Control Panel, and install the Nvidia graphics. I suggest you download the Nvidia drivers before you swap to save some time.

But people are saying the Radeon 7870, is better to get a higher fps as it shows in some reviews on computer. Are you sure Nvidia's is better? + I got already A Radeon graphics card, it'll also save me some trouble. I'm sticking with your opinion though. I appreciate all your answers. :)

Not sure what you mean. Every review I've seen puts the 760 either a bit ahead or a league ahead of the 7870. Really, the "trouble" you'd save by staying in-brand versus reinstalling drivers is minimal. It'd take 20 minutes at most.

So long as there aren't any sales or promotions, that's an average price for a non-reference card.
It's 295mm long - make sure you have that amount of clearance in your case.
