Hello everyone,
I have been saving for quite a while to be able to build a gaming PC and have now finally received everything in the mail and put it together to the best of my ability. I watched a few guides but I am still not the most experienced person in this area and think that it is time to call upon the help of others. So the specs are:
-Intel i7 3770k
-ASRock Z77 extreme 4 motherboard
- 16GB (2x8) corsair vengeance RAM @ 1600mhz
- Coolermaster GX 750w 80+ bronze psu
- Coolermaster k350 case
-EVGA GTX 680 FTW+ edition 4096mb

Basically the story goes that I linked everything up and then on the motherboard's "Dr. Debug" display, I get an error code of 4f and then goes through a bunch of others such as 76, 9a, etc. (Too fast to read). These codes point to the cpu/memory side of things but I really don't know what I can do about them. Made sure all are seated correctly, re installed and cleared cmos tried everything I can think of/the internet has given me. I'll be glad to hear some suggestions/solutions from you guys if possible.

Solution

Yes the 8 pin (4+4) cable is plugged in near the cpu firmly.
RemoVe the gpu and one stick of ram and see if the mb will post with no error from onboard video. A lot of mb need to have there bios updated when new. look at the bios chip on your mb there be a bios rev sticker on it. Look at the mb vendor web page to see how new the bios is on your mb and look under the CPU qal list to see if the bios rev at a rev that post your CPU.

According to the website, the 3770k only requires BIOS ver. 1.20 and I have 1.80 installed so that can't be the issue. I will go and try your other suggestion now, but I may have already tried it. I really can't remember.
EDIT: No luck.

The issue is that it doesn't boot. I've already tried without the 680 and get the same result.
