I upgraded my motherboard, cpu and ram. The computer booted fine a few times, then it stopped coming on completely. I fixed that problem but now I cannot hear a beep that indicates successful posting, and the monitor will not display any video whether i'm using onboard or gpu. Plz assist me.

MOtherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H

GPU: Geforce Gtx 460 v2

RAM: 8 gb Corsair

PSU: Omega 750W ATX

Solution
Try booting with just one stick of RAM, if it doesn't work the put the other stick of RAM in and take the current one out. Make sure that your monitor is on the correct signal. Check that your Audio connector is securely connected.

I tried booting with the individual ram sticks in all the slots and even with no ram in. The monitor still says no signal, then goes into standby. Still no beep/post. By audio connector do you mean the speaker? I checked the front panel speaker and it was secure.

You said this was with onboard gpu? Have you tried to use external card just to test it???

Yes I have 2 DVI ports on the back of the video card and the onboard has a vga slot and one other that looks like a dvi but my cable won't fit in it. I am using the vga slot.
