Can you afford a Z87 motherboard instead? Even if you don't want to overclock it seams that would be better, but maybe not and B85 is cheaper.

Nice setup, but change to ram sticks with cas9 instead of cas11 for higher speed. Also consider changing the VGA card to a MSI GTX760 due to better cooling system: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GeForce_GTX_760_TF_Gaming/ if it's available at the same price. The rest is good :)

Sorry but what's the difference between a Z87 and B85? My friend came up with this setup because I am not really that knowledgeable about computers.

^ Same as above, whats the difference between 9 and 11 that's accountable for the higher speed? I will look into the MSI GTX760 but is it overclocked? The one I listed is factory OC. I do not know how to overclock.

Z87 and B85 are Intel chipsets, they are on control parts of the motherboard and what is attached to those parts. The Z87 is a higher end and generally used for gaming because you can OC and it has a few other advantages. But since you will not overclock the B85 should be fine because it is cheaper.

The difference between 9 and 11 cas latency is the amount of cycles it takes the RAM to communicate with the processor. Lower is better, and 1600MHz sets of CL 9 aren't much more expensive than 1600Mhz sets of CL 11.

And the MSI card is factory Overclocked too, you won't have to do anything to it and it is better than the Gigabyte.

Do I get any increase in FPS / load speed when gaming if I were to OC my CPU? If not, then I will just stick to the B85.

I will switch to CL 9 then. You are right, it isn't much more expensive than CL11.

Cool, I didn't know the MSI card is factory OCed. Whats the difference between Gigabyte's GTX760 OC and MSI GTX760? Besides better cooling on MSI side.

Yes, overclocking will help performance in most cases. But if you overclock you would have to get the i5-4670K which is more expensive and you would have to get a Z87 motherboard, and don't forget a cooler. Depends if you are willing to get all of that and learn how to overclock.

The MSI one might have a few more features and it has a $10 rebate card right now on Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127745

What type of performance increase am I looking at? I'd have to consider since I am on a budget. Do I still need to get extra cooler if I don't plan to OC or will the fans that are included with the case suffice.

I am from Singapore so it's cheaper to buy parts here instead. Thanks for the link anyway!

Oh, haha my bad assuming everyone can buy from newegg. Still counts as a difference though :D
I have a 4670K but do not have all the parts so it is still in its box right now, so I can't tell you anything yet. But at stock speed the 4670K is only a little faster than the i5 4570, the difference would probably not be noticed. An aftermarket cooler is always nice, but stock should work ok for the 4570. In your situation I would probably just use the 4570.

Haha. Don't worry it's all good :)!
I guess I will just stick to 4570 then since I am on a budget and I am probably not going to do anything else besides gaming and browsing the net with my computer so I guess there's no need for a OC CPU. Would the stock fans work together with the whole build? I am concerned about heat issues as my current computer is experiencing heat issues.

If you are really concerned, pick up an aftermarket for not much. If your case will fit it, the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is a good one. The stock fan will keep it from overheating and such fine, but may be a bit noisy and have a little higher temps.

I guess I am going to let the stock fans do it's job for awhile and see how it goes. If I find that my computer is getting quite hot then I will get an aftermarket fan. Anyway, I have made the changes mentioned above to my setup and will get my new computer next week! Thank you all for the quick response and advices. Really appreciate it. Cheers!

BUMP! So after considering, I have decided that I WILL upgrade my computer in the future - including GTX760 SLI's. But my motherboard does not support SLI from what I have read and I need help finding a new motherboard that supports SLI, and has the same price range as the Asrock B85M Pro4 and as good. Also, is 550W PSU enough for all the parts listed including GTX760 SLI? and do will the i5 4570 do good if I were to use 2 monitor - 1920x1080 for gaming and 1440x900 for browsing web. will it work or will it lag?
