Micro-center has some good looking bundles. I wanted to keep my GPU under $200 and preferably around $150.

The Sapphire 2gb is 184 after rebate.

The His 2gb is 189.00 on sale

The Sapphire 1gb is 159.99 after rebate

The MSI 2gb is 159.99 with out any bundled games but is onsale considerably.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

i would go for the sapphire one.
better company + 2 fan version, will probably be better at overclocking.

Any 7850 can max out the clocks regardless of the cooler, they just don't generate that much heat. However, I do agree that the sapphire is the best deal. And it is a good looking card.

Ya that is what I was leaning toward but is the 2gb version worth the extra money? I will be playing on a 32inch Hd tv. I am not sure about resolution.

I mean I want a 2gb version but the wallet is screaming for the 1 gb lol

inch has nothing do to with anything, if ur tv is full hd, you would definitely benefit from the 2gb one.

If you really want to cut the costs, the MSI 7850 2GB is a great card as well, and it will likely perform no different than the sapphire version.

ah ok thanks for the input everyone. If I get the sapphire it will come with the games I am under the understanding that I can sell the codes on Ebay if I do not want one of the games?

Also have any of you had any issues with redeeming any of the games, I have read it can be a goose chase sometimes. Because if there is an issue redeeming them I would be more apt to just buy the MSI.

I own the HIS version of the 7850, and the free game thing is the same for all vendors. They are very easy to redeem, You get an email with the codes, and then you enter them in the respective game launchers.

I have a Metro Last Light I'm having a hard time with. I'd actually recommend the MSI regardless. I've found them to be incredibly reliable (a 10-year old MX460 still running fine).

I've had bad experiences with Powercolor, though it was a long time ago. They may have improved since then.

Oh okay, what type of experiences did you have? Customer Service? Faulty Product? or both lol

Faulty product. Maybe the RAMDAC or the connector or something... the picture it outputted would shimmer on high-contrast lines (light/dark). Card was probably just build from cheap components. Like I say, they might be fine now but I wouldn't risk it personally.

Ok Thanks, I may just get the MSI without the bundle. Even tho I was interesting in playing Tomb Raider lol.

Thanks for all the replys I will select a best answer soon. I have another question relating to these cards. What is the real difference between a single fan on the gpu (like this msi) and the dual fans like the sapphire
