So i got a brand new rig :
AMD Fx-6300 3.5 Ghz 6 cores
8GB Ram (4x2) 1333Ghz
1TB HDD 7200Rpm
500w Antec PSU

But i thought i might be able to use my older XFX ATI Raedon HD 4870... But now it heats u to 100 C. even the average temp is 70 C. and i have a feeling that it will damage my PC bcz it makes my cabinet soo hot that i can even touch it so i need a dirt cheap Graphic Card (bcz i dnt have any cash left) to play games like World Of Tanks, COD etc..

Best gpu for the money:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-2.html

The HD 4870 is somewhere between the 6670 and the 7750.

Btw I had the same problem with my 4870, so I lowered its voltage by a small amount and its temperatures are now in check, it's working like this for about 2 years with no issues. The software I used is ati tray tools, google it if you want to give it a try.

Solution

Why not? Antec is one of the big 4 PSU companies that I would recommend to anybody. Very reputable brand.

Mostly because I already have 2 from Corsair. So, partially because I don't need one, and partially because I ruled them out when I was looking earlier. In another 6-8yrs when I need a new PSU again I may find that things have changed and I may choose them, but for now they're off the radar.

Antec may not be the top choice in quality but the majority of their units are good.

Mostly manufactured by delta and sometimes seasonic.

You won't get a very good GPU for $50. Can you stretch it to ~$70 to atleast get a 6670?

The cheapest possible GPU would probably be a Geforce GT210 but that is a terrible GPU.
