PSU required for my new build

Hello,

I've recently bought all of the components for my new build.
Specs are:
AMD FX-8350
8GB Ram
Motherboard (Cant remember model)
1TB HDD
disc drive
And a PSU, This one here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-750W-Power-Supply-Rails/dp/B002Q8HFEI
Now my question is will it run an AMD 7870 or a GTX 660?
Does it have enough AMPS?
I'm fairly new so simplified terms please!
Josh

  2. yes it will do the trick
  3. Thanks for the replys, I know it might not be a quality on but i have it now so im wondering if it will be enough?
Will someone explain the whole "amp" requirement please. The graphics card says it needs 28 Amps?
  4. It's enough wattage to run those cards , but I wouldn't risk my components with a low quality PSU.
  5. How many watts would i need? Because i can get a 500W Corsair PSU for only £10 more?
    Would that do the trick?
  6. That is a much better choice. Corsair would be a better fit.

    Thanks for posting!
  8. But would 500W run all of my components?
  9. Yes the 500 corsair will!
  10. You sure? Before i put the order in? Because i have a FX 8350 as well, And that uses quite a lot of power?
  11. Is it the CX500 , if it's that one your fine.
  12. It is indeed. Also i thing the 7870 requires 2x 6 pin connectors for power? Will the corsair supply this?
  13. PCI-Express Connector
    2 x 6+2-Pin

    YES ^
