Which tubing size

I'm not sure if I am asking this in the right section or not, but I'm about to buy some water cooling parts and I was wanting to know what tubing size should I use? 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD or 1/2"ID x 3/4" OD? I'm going to be cooling the CPU and my GPU and I heard that 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD causes less flow and may cause issues for a multi-block loop. I just need to know so that I don't mess anything up.

Solution
It depends on your parts. Most parts use 3/8" ID 5/8" OD (G1/4), so those are the size of compression fittings and tubing that you should get. Look at all your components and see what the connections are; if they are all G1/4, use the 3/8" ID 5/8" OD for all of your tubing. In the end, all of your components should have the same size (e.g. all should be G1/4). The pump may be a tight fit (especially the Swiftech MCP655), but just put the tubing in hot water and use pliers to make the end a bit wider. :)

This the radiator I chose to get because I heard it was a good performer, but anyways I don't see where it says which threads it uses.

If it uses a different size, do you know of any that would use G1/4 and is better, but around the same price?

Check everything to make sure that it is G1/4. If so, you will be good with 3/8" ID 5/8" OD tubing, as well as that size of barbs/compression fittings. :)

Okay, well then I guess I'm getting that size because everything is G1/4"! Thanks for the help, its much appreciated!:D

G1/4" refers to thread of any ports, not what the ID size of the fitting needs to be.
Any barb or compression with an ID above 1/4" will do fine, beyond that there is no difference to performance. 1/2" is fairly common, and with 1/2" barbs you can use 7/16" tubing for a very tight seal.
