Hello Friends,
This is my pc spec,
Dell Inspiron 560
Mother Board - G43T-DM1
Ram - 4 GB DDR 3
HHD - 500GB
GPU - NVIDIA GT 310 512 MB
PSU - 300 W

See i recently wanted to upgrade my GPU so i blindly bought a Nvidia Geforce 550Ti 1 GB DDR 5. Thinking that my PSU will support. Unfortunatly it dint. So i upgraded my PSU to 400W Cooler master with 6 pin connector.
Then i installed and it fits fine. I play lot of dota 2 and Cs Go and i dont play much of other games. When i play Dota 2 for 15 to 20 min My cabinet getting heated like SUN. So i remove the PSU and GPU and replaced my older ones.

The thing is now iam planning to buy a Radon 6670 1 GB DDR 3 or Radon 6670 1 Gb DDR 5.

All i want is to play Dota 2 with full setting high and rendering and Ambent Lighting on.

And 1 more thing will my mother board take 400W PSU with out burning it and which GPU is safe for my mother board DDR 3 OR DDR 5 RADON 6670 and will i have the same heating problem in this GPU. Need ur thoughts and advice. Good day.

Thanks

Kishore

Solution
buddy , you can buy and Gigabyte HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 it better than HD 6770 in performance with similar price , and guess what ?!!
i was running that Graphic card Using Dell 305 W Power supply , it doesn't require 6 pin connector and it's consume only 30 ~ 55 Watts
i don't think that you will find something better than the HD 7750

Ok ...

Motherboard and PSU are fine. You can put a 1200w PSU in there and the motherboard will be just fine, so don't worry about that. So long as you have enough power, you can't have too much with regards to the motherboard.

The 550ti is better than the 6670, though not by much. If you still own the 550ti, keep it ... no sense wasting money on a lesser (or best case scenario equal) card.

If possible, definitely pick GDDR5 cards over GDDR3 (DDR3) cards.

If you have heat issues you need to look at the cooling situation of your case. How many intake fans do you have? How many exhaust fans do you have? Where are they located?

Thanks for ur comments and advice.

As Spaniard United said

i think i need to look into into my cabinet and cooler fans and things like that. Now iam happy in 1 way that i can install back my 550 TI GPU with cooler master 400 psu.

Buddy, So how can i bring down my heating problem. Is it safe to just open the side door of the cabinet and use it when i play games
Or
Should i add more Fans
Or
Should i change my cabinet
thanks

I would recommend upgrading your case. Dell tends to not focus on cooling and with only 1 exhaust fan and no others in the case, you are bound to get pretty warm in there.

At the very least you should have an intake fan on the front and an exhaust fan on the back.
Preferably you should have 1-2 fans on the front as intake, 1 fan on the back as exhaust, and 1-2 fans on top as exhaust, maybe even 1 fan on the side as intake (or exhaust depending on where it mounts) and one on the bottom as intake. This would give you front to back, bottom to top airflow and help keep your components much cooler.

Those are both good cases with excellent cooling, especially once you get fans in the provides spaces.

Water cooling is using water to cool your components. Most people cool the CPU and maybe GPU, some also cool the motherboard, RAM, and hard drives. It gives much lower temperatures on your components at a much higher cost than air cooling.

*Edit* I know nothing about those two sites that I linked. I used them to get a comparison of what the cases cost in Rs. Use whatever site or store you prefer.

So, i cant use this 400W PSU if i upgrade my Cabinet to either of the above 2 ?
What will be the minimum PSU Requirment or the best PSU Requirment for the above 2 Cabinet, if i fill all the optional fan slots in the cabinet.
