Trying to connect smartphone to wifi through my wireless router......shows my network on phone but is asking me for a password....don't know what password it means....I've tried all of mine....help anyone?

Solution
If it is your router and you did not set the password, look on the bottom of the router for a sticker with the default password. If that password does not work hold the reset button on the back of your router for about 15 seconds to reset your router to factory. You will need to login to the router and set a new wireless password after doing that.

Solution
Connect your computer to the router via Ethernet. Then log in to the router's IP address. The router is usually user/password protected. If you are not the one who normally manages the router, then ask whoever does.

Worse case scenario, you can hit and hold the reset button for a bit to reset the user/password to its default user/password. Be warned that if you do this, you lose all settings and changes and you will have to re-apply them. Which is why if you are not the person who normally manage it or you have no idea what you're doing, then I suggest you find help.
