I have recently bought a ga-z87x-oc mobo and an EVGA GTX 780 oc acx.... My pc boots up with the gpu in, starts the Windows logo and blue screens (this then triggers a reboot before I can even read the error info). So I tried using onboard gpu, now it does nothing..... Nothing at all, other than my psu ticking lightly (Corsair HX850).....
Any ideas? Im stumped......

Solution
Check that you mb vendor has not dropped a new bios update. Both the mb and gpu are new products. Make sure you installed the newest intel mb chipset drivers. With the gpu out check that you did not install the lucientlogic MVP software that bonds onboard gpu and main gpu for higher fps. The free software is buggy.
