Hey guys, can someone help answer my questions? That'd be great

I have an old Intel X25-M 80GB 2.5" Solid State Disk, its a sata 3 storage will it be able to run on my mobo's sata 6 port w/ the sata 6 HDD?

Will getting two x16 video card work on my mobo @x8 each?

This is my final build that I'm pretty set on getting. Should I consider anything else?

Well for your resolution a WAY cheaper card would max games. You really want a 1080p monitor if you are building this big of a system. Otherwise its pretty much worthless.

Answers to your questions:

1) All SATA is compatible, you're fine.
2) Yes, two cards will works with your motherboard at x8 each.
3) Other things to consider: Nope, you're good. This is one of the best builds I've seen in a while :D

Edit: Get the 770, it's a great card and it'll max out games longer than a cheaper card. Ignore him.

I am getting a 1080p monitor. I only selected the Dell to reflect the used price monitor I will be getting. The card I chose at first was the MSI GTX770 but found the EVGA to be at the same price.

Good build, although I would pick another motherboard. MSI is (or has been) one of the worse motherboard manufacturers. Asus, Gigabyte or maybe an AsRock would be a better choice.

Other than that, not much to complain about.

What would be a good mobo to get at a similar price? I was considering the AsRock z87 extreme 4 but I'm not sure if its better.

Sata 3 is 6.0gb/s There is no Sata 6

It's usually written Sata 3 / Sata 6.0... easily confused but there ya go :p

I think around the same price is the gigabyte UD3H, but that may have been temporary.

While thinking of the z87 - G45, I'm suprised it doesnt support thunderbolt. One of the z77 boards has a thunderbolt IO.... G43? I cant remember off the top of my head. I would have thought it would be a feature to carry over, have I missed something on the thunderbolt end of things? I was hoping it would become widely available.

Asus has the Z87-A.
Gigabyte has a similarly priced GA-Z87X-D3H.
And you already mentioned the Extreme 4 (although I would personally much more prefer the other 2)

Those would likely be your best choices.

The gtx 760 will max out any game at 1080p and its cheaper...the 770 is overkill for 1080p....if your building this kind of pc you really need a higher resolution monitor or 3d monitor...if you can afford a high rez monitor its definitely worth it and 770 would run on it with no problems:]

I would go with the asrock extreme 4, its more flexible with its pcie slot speed/layout judging from the specs.
3 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots (PCIE2/PCIE4/PCIE5: single at x16 (PCIE2); dual at x8 (PCIE2) / x8 (PCIE4); triple at x8 (PCIE2) / x4 ) (PCIE4) / x4 (PCIE5) ( http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87%20Extreme4/?cat=Spec... )
the gigabyte board if you use the 3rd full length pcie slot (4x slot) it stops functionality of the small 1x pcie slots ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=... )
the z87-a asus 3rd full-length pcie slot is only 2x speed. ( http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87A/#specifications )

but have a look through the specs/features yourself, they are all good quality boards, just pick the one that has the features/specs that appeal to you. Apart from that, pretty good build, you will be happy with it.

Thanks for all your feedback! I really appreciate it :D

After reading a couple of reviews I decided to stick with the MSI but again thanks for all your advices. If the MSI doesn't work out or if I change my mind I'll return it for the As rock extreme 4.
