Anyone aware of a cable that makes me take power from a regular sata "she", then distribute it to molex "he" and a sata "he"

I have my doubts tho, looks like i might have to take out my good old electronics solder iron

More about : ata molex connectivity

If you are attempting to take a SATA daisy chain and add a Molex to it, remember that the SATA wiring may not carry the current that the Molex is designed to carry. The wires are usually smaller and the amp rating of Molex is greater than SATA power.

Hmm, that is true. Thanks for your reply, as i know myself i'd probably spend too much time on this and get majorly confused. Best choice is to just add the extra cables from PSU:)

That would be best. But I know what you mean... I try to keep the amount of cables to a minimum too. And I hate it when I'm forced to add a Molex chain to my modular PSU just for 1 item. What do you need to power via Molex?

Fan control for the Define R4. seems the H100i and the AX 860I takes up usb slots as well. It's horrible design imo.
My initial design was to make my maximus hero take all fans by software, then i mounted a bottom 140 fan in the cabinet, so i have to apply power to the fan controller designed in the cabinet to power that one

Been using Asus forever now, but i'd love to see 7-8 fan headers on the mobo

Agreed. Asus is one of my fav boards, too. But they are always skimpy on the fan headers.
