SLI Not working

I just installed a new SLI bridge on my two 8800GT's. I was trying to find a way to enable it and I cant find one. Does anyone know where I can turn it on or something?

Try the Nvidia control panel, that's where the option would normally be.

No not really, the setup procedure for a desktop is nowhere near as convoluted as that "guide" seems to be.

Go to Nvidia Control Panel --> Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX --> Check "Maximize 3D performance" and the SLI will be enabled.

Have you had these cards in SLi before? What motherboard are you using?

I have never had them in SLI before, but in a recent thread we concluded that my computer did support it with an ASUS P5K premium and an antec earthwatts 500.

According to this page :- http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5K_PremiumWiFiAP/ that's a Crossfire board not an SLi board.

I don't think mine is a third generation black pearl. It also looks nothing like that picture there. But I guess they wouldn't have taken away SLI in later versions of the board. Well, the bridge was only 5 bucks.

If the bridge didn't come with the motherboard then it's not an SLi capable board.
