I'm planning on upgrading a lot of my computer in the future and am making a wishlist being that I don't have enough money yet.

My list so far

But as far as motherboard goes i'm a little on the fence with two motherboards.
Here are the two i'm looking into

As far as cost goes obviously I would rather the better product but I don't want to be spending money on overkill things I don't need. I would just like some guidance as to which motherboard I should get without spending money on things I that aren't necessary.

So what exactly do you intend to do on your PC.

Will you be overclocking?
Will you be gaming?
Will you be doing something else?

This will give me an idea of which the better motherboard is for you.

Please names of the things you are asking about .... persons familiar with the board won't need the link and probably already have RSI issues :)

very different boards .... one has 3 PCI-E slots, other has 1

If thinking SLI or CF, the 2nd one is not an option

The Corsair 500R is a superior case and available at half the cost.

4670k is overclockable and $80 cheaper

a 64GB SSD is a waste of effort IMO. If budget requirements don't allow a 120 GB job, get a hybrid SSD/HS

Look at the ASRock Z87 Extreme 4, better mobo, better for OCing, better QC (more likely to arrive alive), better support, If don't care for the Rock, then look at Asus or GigaByte
